Among the stotra’s to worship Lord Vishnu, Shatpadi Stotram has a unique place.
This Vishnu Shatpadi Stotram not only praises Lord Vishnu on his divine attributes and Avatars but also helps us to understand the inner self and worldly existence. Further, it requests Lord Hari to uplift from the sufferings of Samsara, the cycle of birth and death.
This Stotram contains a total of six stanzas so called Shatpadi. Additionally, it contains a seventh stanza that requests Lord Vishnu for his bliss.

ಅವಿನಯ ಮಪನಯ ವಿಷ್ಣೋ ದಮಯ ಮನಃ ಶಮಯ ವಿಷಯ ಮೃಗತೃಷ್ಣಾಮ್
ಭೂತದಯಾಂ ವಿಸ್ತಾರಯ ತಾರಯ ಸಂಸಾರ ಸಾಗರತಃ (1)
ದಿವ್ಯಧುನೀ ಮಕರಂದೇ ಪರಿಮಳ ಪರಿಭೋಗ ಸಚ್ಚಿದಾನಂದೇ
ಶ್ರೀಪತಿ ಪದಾರವಿಂದೇ ಭವಭಯ ಖೇದಚ್ಛಿದೇ ವಂದೇ (2)
